In a recent video, I had the chance to reflect on my life’s journey and how faith became a cornerstone amidst struggles. My upbringing in the Philippines was anything but easy. A devastating typhoon wrecked our home, leaving us facing hunger and hardships. To support my family, I had to laboriously grind cornmeal at 4 am. However, a pivotal moment came when I encountered a Christian who introduced me to the Gospel.
Initially skeptical, I eventually embraced Jesus into my life, marking a significant turning point. This newfound faith became the anchor that steered my life towards a renewed sense of purpose.
Presently, my wife, Emily, and I lead KLM, a non-profit endeavor committed to aiding underprivileged Filipino children. Through KLM, we provide essential support: nourishment, education, and spiritual guidance, instilling hope in young lives.
My story is a testament to resilience, demonstrating how faith can transcend challenges. It emphasizes the transformative power of faith, inspiring hope even in the toughest times.
