From a Hungry Child to a Life of Purpose
Last month, I had the privilege of visiting the Philippines, and it stirred something deep within me. As I watched the children eagerly line up for a warm meal, it was as though I was looking into a mirror of my past—a reflection of a time when I, too, faced hunger and uncertainty. When I was just 8 years old, my mother passed away. My father was not around, and I found myself navigating life alone, working in exchange for food or simply a place to sleep. At such a young age, I was carrying the weight of survival. I
